Analyze Jaxson Dart's matchup for week 10
Jaxson Dart has posted 17-plus fantasy points in every start, ranks as QB5, QB13, QB2 and QB3 over the last month, and now draws a Bears defense that’s allowed the 7th-most QB fantasy points and 5.1 yards per carry to opposing rushers; his dual-threat floor and top-5 upside make him an automatic start.
Chicago’s defense has been a fantasy funnel for quarterbacks, surrendering 20 passing TDs and the 7th-most fantasy points to the position while also yielding 5.1 yards per carry to QB runs—numbers that play directly into Dart’s 195-4 rushing line and his streak of five rushing scores in six games. The Bears just got shredded by 38-year-old Joe Flacco for 470/4, and Dart’s rushing dimension gives him both a rock-solid 17-point floor and legitimate top-five ceiling this week.
Dart has finished as QB5, QB13, QB2 and QB3 the last four weeks, averaging 23.8 FPPG and scoring at least 17 in every start since Week 4; he’s rushed for a TD in five of six games and risen to QB16 on the season despite not starting until October.
The rookie’s ascension has been meteoric. Since taking over in Week 4, Dart has posted the position’s most consistent floor—17-plus fantasy points in every outing—while flashing weekly upside that peaks at QB2. His 23.8 FPPG over the last three would rank top-5 over a full season, and it’s come despite injuries around him; he’s manufactured production with a 9:3 TD-to-INT ratio and 4.5 YPC on the ground. That dual-threat profile is the key to his Week 10 ceiling. Chicago’s linebackers have struggled to spy athletic quarterbacks, allowing 5.1 YPC and five rushing scores to the position. When you pair that with a secondary that just gave up 470 yards to Flacco, the paths to fantasy points multiply: Dart can nickel-and-dime them with 8–10 carries, hit the 40-60 rushing-yard bonus and still exploit a depleted intermediate zone to keep the passing floor intact. Expect 240/2 through the air and another 45-plus with a rushing TD—numbers that should comfortably finish inside the top-12 and carry top-five upside if the game stays competitive. Fire him up as a locked-in QB1 in all formats.
